Resource

The Webflow SEO toolkit, 2026 edition.

Crawlers, keyword tools, performance monitors, and schema validators we actually use on Webflow audits.

Webflow's clean HTML makes SEO tooling easier than on most platforms — most general SEO tools just work. The stack below is what we and the agencies in our directory reach for first when auditing or running ongoing SEO on Webflow sites.

Crawling & audits

Screaming Frog

The default crawler. Catches indexability issues, broken redirects, and schema errors that Webflow itself won't flag.

Sitebulb

A friendlier crawler with great visualizations. Useful when you need to show non-technical stakeholders what's wrong.

Ahrefs Site Audit

Continuous crawl + monitoring. Pair with Ahrefs Webmaster Tools (free) for ongoing alerts.

Keyword & content

Ahrefs

Strongest single tool if you can only buy one. Keyword research, backlink analysis, content gap reports.

Semrush

Comparable to Ahrefs with different keyword data. Worth checking both during the trial period.

Clearscope

Content optimization scoring. Useful for editors writing or briefing content for Webflow CMS.

Performance

PageSpeed Insights

Free, official. Should be the first stop for any Core Web Vitals investigation.

WebPageTest

Deeper than PageSpeed Insights. Filmstrip, waterfall, and detailed render-blocking analysis.

Chrome UX Report (CrUX)

Real-user Core Web Vitals data, not synthetic. The numbers Google actually uses.

Schema & structured data

Schema.org

The official reference. Start here before reaching for generators.

Schema Markup Validator

Google's official validator. Run every CMS template through it before launch.

Merkle Schema Generator

Solid generator for the schema types Webflow doesn't natively emit (FAQ, HowTo, Article).

Rank tracking

Ahrefs Rank Tracker

Bundled with Ahrefs. Solid for tracking 100–500 keywords across markets.

AccuRanker

Best-in-class rank tracking at scale. Worth it for agencies managing many client projects.
